William L. Dillon, M.D.
Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Dillon is originally from Burr Oak, Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a 1971 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship at Kessler Air Force Base Medical Center, Kessler AFB, Mississippi in 1972. This was followed by one year of general surgery residency training at David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB, California. He returned to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City where he completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery in 1976. Thereafter, Dr. Dillon continued to serve in the United States Air Force at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery until 1980. He then returned to Kansas where he established Southeast Kansas Orthopedic Clinic.
Dr. Dillon is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in General Orthopaedics. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has been an active medical staff member of Labette Health since 1980 where he has served as Chief of Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery. He is past president of the Labette County Medical Society. He currently serves on the board of Labette Health Foundation and the board of trustees for Labette Health. He is also on medical staff at Neosho Regional Medical Center in Chanute, KS where he maintains an orthopedic surgery outreach clinic.
Dr. Dillon provides general orthopedic care, including joint replacement surgery.
